International Consultancy Projects: fresh perspectives for your organisation

Through our partnership with Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM), organisations in Rotterdam’s Life Sciences & Health ecosystem can benefit from the expertise of talented international master’s students.

RSM’s International Consultancy Projects (ICP) give organisations the opportunity to submit a specific business challenge or internal issue for a team of students to investigate. Between February and June 2027, student teams use research-based methods to develop a practical advisory report, guided by an RSM academic coach and a coach from the participating organisation.

What can an International Consultancy Project offer your organisation?

Participating organisations benefit from fresh insights and research-based recommendations on a relevant business challenge. Each student team contributes approximately 700 hours of consultancy work, providing dedicated time to investigate the issue and develop practical advice.

The projects also offer an opportunity to connect with talented international master’s students and explore potential recruitment opportunities. Throughout the project, the students receive guidance from an RSM academic coach, working alongside a coach from the participating organisation.

Previous participating organisations include Convergence Health and Technology, Schiphol Group, Signify, KONE, Aon, ASML and Toolstation. Convergence Health and Technology, for example, has successfully submitted several projects for students to work on.

Interested in participating?

Organisations can register their business challenges until December 2026. Projects start in February 2027, with final presentations scheduled for June 2027.

If your organisation has a business challenge that could benefit from this initiative, you can contact Martine Vissers at the RSM Career Centre via vissers@rsm.nl to discuss the possibilities.
