Rotterdam Square welcomes Rabobank as supporting Health & Tech partner for LSH entrepreneurs

Rotterdam Square is pleased to welcome Rabobank as a new supporting Health & Tech partner and consortium member. With this collaboration, Rabobank will contribute its expertise to supporting Life Sciences & Health (LSH) entrepreneurs in the Rotterdam region.

As part of the new partnership, Rabobank will join a monthly walk-in consultation hour for LSH companies in the Rotterdam region. These informal contact moments will give entrepreneurs the opportunity to speak directly with Rabobank advisers about their questions and explore how Rabobank can support them in their entrepreneurial journey.

Rabobank will also contribute to one workshop, masterclass or knowledge session each year, bringing relevant expertise to the Rotterdam LSH community. In addition, Rabobank is open to supporting starting LSH entrepreneurs in the region as they develop their businesses and prepare for the next phase of growth.

Ellen Smit, Managing Director of Rotterdam Square: “We are happy to welcome Rabobank to our consortium as a supporting partner. For entrepreneurs, having access to the right expertise at the right moment can be invaluable, particularly when building a company in the Life Sciences & Health sector. This collaboration adds another valuable perspective to the support network available to LSH entrepreneurs in Rotterdam.”

Martijn Starre, Startup & Scale-up Banker Healthcare and Rob Reedijk, advisor MKB at Rabobank: “At Rabobank, we believe innovation in Life Sciences & Health is essential to addressing some of society’s biggest challenges. Through our partnership with Rotterdam Square, we look forward to supporting ambitious entrepreneurs with our sector knowledge, network and financial expertise. Together, we aim to support innovative companies in their growth ambitions and contribution to healthcare innovation”.

The collaboration with Rabobank is another step in Rotterdam Square’s ambition to create a strong and connected Life Sciences & Health ecosystem in Rotterdam. By bringing entrepreneurs together with expertise, networks and potential partners, Rotterdam Square helps create the conditions for innovation to develop and grow.
