Pharma Innovation in Biotech & Life Sciences

On 29 May 2026, the Pharma Innovation Event will take place in Leiden. This international professional event brings together policymakers, companies, research institutions, and innovation actors in biotechnology and life sciences to strengthen the sector’s future resilience in the Netherlands.

Against the backdrop of geopolitical shifts and global supply chain dependencies, the event is focused on how innovations in biotechnology and life sciences can contribute to Europe’s strategic and economic autonomy. The emphasis is on successful European best practices and how they can be translated into the Dutch context.

The event is organized by IvCB, HollandBIO, the Netherlands British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC), and other international chambers of commerce, and creates a high-quality platform for exchange between public and private actors.
