Rotterdam Square Life Science Cafe: exploring the brain through new perspectives.
On 7 May, innovators, researchers, and partners gathered at Frame Offices Little C for a brain-focused edition of the Rotterdam Square Life Science Café. An evening dedicated to exploring one of the most complex and fascinating topics in science: the human brain.
The programme featured inspiring talks from four speakers:
• Henk-Jan Boele (BlinkLab Limited (ASX:BB1) Limited) shared how digital biomarkers and smartphone-based neurometric testing are creating new possibilities in autism diagnostics.
• Loduvica Kitty Hiert (Super Family) presented an integrated approach to supporting children with neurodevelopmental disorders through neuroscience and AI-driven care.
• Sadaf Soloukey & Pieter Kruizinga (BrainEcho Lab, Erasmus MC) demonstrated how ultra-fast ultrasound is enabling new ways to visualize the human brain and support safer brain tumor surgeries.
Following the programme, participants continued the conversation during the networking reception, exchanging ideas and exploring potential collaborations.
Thank you to all the speakers and attendees for your valuable contributions and engaging discussions throughout the evening!
