Rotterdam Square Breakfast: The Implementation of Trends in Digital Health

We cannot deny it: the importance of digital health. Smart, digital solutions to make healthcare more efficient and sustainable. What are the current trends and developments in digital healthcare? And how are these applied in practice?

This will thoroughly be discussed at the breakfast event The Implementation of Trends in Digital Health on Tuesday, May 28, at CIC Rotterdam, hosted by Rotterdam Square in collaboration with Upstream Festival. Guest speakers from the program Digitally Connected (Dutch: Digitaal Verbonden) and the Digizorg app from Erasmus MC, UX research and design company Online Department, and digital learning platform Primio, will join the event to interactively share their insights with you.

• Martijn van der Laan, Lead Mobile Developer. Martijn is dedicated to healthcare transformation through his work on Digizorg, with the mission to build a single app that integrates all healthcare services in the region, making it easier for patients to manage their care and stay connected with their healthcare providers. He will share more about the journey of developing Digizorg and how AI plays a role in that as well.

8:25 – 8:40 Presentation Online Department and Q&A between Online Department and Erasmus MC

• Jolijn de Haan, UX & Service Designer Healthcare. Jolijn graduated cum laude from the Master Design for Interaction at TU Delft, with a medical specialization. With her holistic and enthusiastic approach, she is passionate about connecting people and technology and will be joining to talk more about the research side of improving digital care pathways and the Metro Mapping tool.

• Christiaan Uythoven, Founder. Primio is a learning platform for healthcare workers, with the goal to support and inspire them in their professional growth to make them feel confident and decisive in their work. As a driver of new ideas and possibilities, Christiaan is a catalyst for R&D projects for Primio and partly responsible for Primio’s growth ambitions.
