Exploring Preventive Healthcare at Rotterdam Square event
On 5 February, we welcomed the Rotterdam Life Sciences & Health community to Erasmus MC for our knowledge session on Preventive Health Care. An inspiring and interactive evening on how science, policy, and practice come together to advance preventive healthcare.
Hanneke Molema, PhD (TNO), shared the latest developments in preventive healthcare and the scientific foundation of lifestyle medicine in practice.
Annelies Nijhuis, Strategic Policy Advisor, shared her insights on Health Data at the Gemeente Rotterdam and Public Health Service Rotterdam, GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond, and explained more about vaccination coverage and the power of collaboration in public health.
Raphael Fetz (U-diet) shared how to bridge the gap between research and clinical practice, and how sustainable behavioural change can lead to long-term weight loss and diabetes remission.
During the networking session, Jeroen Kastermans and Lieke van den Eijnde from Smart Health, Patrick van Luijk from BioCheck, and Sanduni Wijesekera from The Happiness Tour connected with attendees and shared their innovative approaches to prevention.
Great to see so many of you there, exchanging ideas and making new connections. That energy is what made this session such a success!
We look forward to continuing the conversation and seeing you at our next events. Would you like to join us there? Visit our events-page or sign up for our mailing list to stay up-to-date.
