Bridging the Gap at Innovation for Health 2026

For the fourth time, Rotterdam Square had the pleasure of attending the 13th edition of Innovation for Health at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht.
This year’s theme, “Bridging the Gap”, perfectly captured the urgency and opportunity within the sector: connecting science and practice, startups and scale-ups, public and private stakeholders, and ultimately ideas with real-world impact.

The program was truly packed with inspiration, featuring over 80 speakers from across the Health & Life Sciences ecosystem.
From cutting-edge research and digital health solutions to policy perspectives and investment insights, the breadth of knowledge shared throughout the day highlighted just how fast innovation in healthcare is evolving.

A particular highlight was the dedicated pitch session on women’s health, powered by IDE Group, and Health~Holland, shining a well-deserved spotlight on an area of growing importance and innovation potential.

We had the opportunity to engage in new, inspiring conversations with innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, and ecosystem partners from across the Netherlands and beyond.
It was especially energizing to reconnect with familiar faces from the Rotterdam ecosystem, like Kadans Science Partner and Delta Life Science, while also building new relationships that will hopefully lead to future collaborations.
