After the summer break, on Thursday, September 18, we are excited to come together again at Erasmus MC for an inspiring knowledge session exploring genetic research and diagnostics: ‘From Genomic Insight to Diagnostic Impact’.

“Towards using Genetic Information in Health Care and Prevention’’
I’ll take you on a journey through the fast-moving world of DNA analysis – from sequencing an entire human genome in under a day to studying millions of genetic markers across huge populations. Drawing on the European 1 Million Genomes initiative and our GOALL program at Erasmus MC, I’ll show how genetic data is making its way into everyday healthcare to improve diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and screening. Along the way, I’ll share real examples and a glimpse of what’s coming next.

Dharminder’s presentation will highlight how SkylineDx develops high-value diagnostic products that enable personalized, genomic data-driven care, by improving risk stratification and guiding treatment decisions. It will briefly trace the company’s growth journey and demonstrate how genomic insights are transformed into actionable tools for clinicians. Finally, the presentation will outline SkylineDx’s R&D approach, which accelerates the path from discovery to real-world patient impact.

At the Rotterdam Square Event i would like to introduce you to iDx. iDx stands for Innovation in Diagnostics. We are an independent knowledge partner specializing in diagnostics in primary care. Together with patients, healthcare professionals, developers and researchers we explore where and how the diagnostic process is improvable and co-create new possible solutions. Furthermore we initiate and support research to diagnostic innovations that aim to improve care for both healthcare professionals and patients. In addition, we contribute to the development and implementation fo these innovations. In my presentation, I will share more about our vision on how proper positioning of diagnostics can influence the entire healthcare continuum and facilitate the shift towards more appropriate, patient-centered care.
