Immersive Tech Week 2023

Immersive Tech Week, organized by VRDays Europe, is a unique festival where creativity, innovation, business, research and art meet to explore the impact of immersive technologies on our planet, culture, and society.

We live in a rapidly changing world in which digital applications are becoming more and more common. Many applications are still 2D on flat screens, but a new digital dimension is emerging. With the digital 3D world, we moved from ‘looking’ to ‘experiencing’: information transfer with greater impact. This is the world of Immersive Tech: the world of Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Extended Reality and everything in between.

From November 28 to December 1, the Immersive Tech Week will take place at de Doelen: an inspiring event in which Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences organizes various activities in which students and employees can participate. There are some activities, exclusively for students, already starting on Monday the 27th.
