A successful first event for Rotterdam Square

On Thursday morning, May 25, the first Rotterdam Square Breakfast event took place at Venture Café Rotterdam, with the theme ‘Digital Healthcare at Home’. With an enthusiastic audience and six interesting speakers joining us, we look back at a successful event.

During the event we were joined by Charlotte Gijzen, Implementations Manager Home Monitoring at Maasstad Hospital, who discussed how Maasstad Hospital is currently working on (collaborations within) home monitoring. Following Charlotte, Bart Becx, Impact & Implementations Specialist at Luscii, and Bart Keijzer, Commercial Director at Sensara, presented their companies that provide healthcare at home. Hans Bussmann, Researcher at Erasmus MC, joined us to talk about the research side of homecare, followed by a short panel discussion and two pitches by Wang Long Li, Founder and CEO at Tinybots, and Henrik Hellman, Director and Owner at EldersVR.
