Wiro Niessen most influential radiology researcher 2023
In a European election within medical imaging, Prof. Dr. Wiro Niessen has been chosen as the most influential radiology researcher for his work at Erasmus MC and TU Delft. For this he will receive the EuroMinnie Prize 2023 from the digital platform AuntMinnie.com, the leading international online news medium within radiology and medical imaging.
Niessen has been dean and member of the UMCG Board of Trustees since Feb. 1.
