Medical Delta Café ‘What Determines the Value of Innovation?’ and Pitches for the Regional Preliminary Round of the National Healthcare Innovation Award
What is the value of healthcare innovations? Is it additional healthy life years? Labor savings? Cost savings? User-friendliness? Efficiency?
It seems that it is primarily the financial value that determines the success of an innovation, that is, what does an investment yield in euros. Is this a healthy form of selection, or should we take a broader view of the value of innovation? And if so, how do we finance that?
We will discuss this on Wednesday, December 11, at 16:00 in Rotterdam during the Medical Delta Café ‘What Determines the Value of Innovation?’
In brief presentations, Sanne Allers (Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management), Mascha Slager (Pieter van Foreest), Robin Toorneman (Zorginstituut Nederland), and Dennis Japink (DigiZo) will share their perspectives from different angles, after which they will engage in a discussion with each other and the audience.
Pitches for the Regional Preliminary Round of the National Healthcare Innovation Award
This year, Medical Delta will host the South Holland final of the National Healthcare Innovation Award during the Medical Delta Café. Three healthcare innovations will pitch their solutions to a panel of experts, after which they will select the winner of the South Holland region. The winning healthcare innovation will represent South Holland in the election for the National Healthcare Innovation Award 2025.
The event will conclude with a networking reception.
